Images In The Mirror
P Collins/ Divine Touch Uche Ama Abriel, Bimbo Akintola, Chinemerem Nwokedi, Desmond Elliot, Bunmi Nelson. Produced by Kingsley Okereke, Emeka Igwemba, Ikechukwu Onyeka Directed by Fred Amata Screenplay byDave Chukwuji
Images The Mirror almost reminds us of the many 'promiscuous girl' flicks, or maybe just the 'girly flicks' as it centers its focus around four girls who were in school together and how each of them reach a point in their lives the narrator likes to call their 'defining moment, a point where you have to go back and ask yourself where everything went wrong. That is what the narrator does here by taking us back and forth from her campus days to the present basically letting us know how she met this group of girls that have become like her sisters. Nothing really ever goes wrong so it's a gratuitous journey. Images In The Mirror unfortunately is a rather plain and simple expedition into nothing really. The movie offers nothing but a story that feels like a sing along. While the delivery is good, the story fails to inspire. Even though it's a quick one part movie, it's tiring because it really offers nothing completely engaging. Maybe one of the girls should have died, maybe they should have had a very big fight, maybe one of them should have robbed a bank or just said 'poop!' to at least put some excitement into this one.
